Qi Gong + Yoga Nidra

Qi Gong is a traditional Chinese practice that involves a series of movements, postures,

breathing techniques, and meditation to cultivate and balance the body's vital energy,

known as "Qi." It is often described as a moving meditation that promotes physical

health, emotional balance, and spiritual growth.

What is Yoga Nidra?

Yoga Nidra, or "yogic sleep," is a powerful relaxation technique that guides you into a

state of profound relaxation and conscious awareness. It involves lying down in a

comfortable position while being led through a meditation that systematically relaxes the

body and mind. It is said to be equivalent to several hours of deep sleep in terms of rest

and rejuvenation.

Holistic Fitness: Intro To Yoga Class

What is Holistic fitness?

It’s a balance, it is about bringing the body and mind in a state of homeostasis. It’s a blend between a few essential elements ….

It’s fluidity & range of motion, hydration of the connective tissue, it multi facet strengthening, it’s dumping the excess lymph, it is increasing circulation, supporting the nervous system and respiratory system.

Essentially holistic health takes into consideration the whole person.

How well is your range of motion/flexibility, your strength, bone health, how well are you breathing, how fit is your mind, & how well is your nervous system operating.

Class will include discussion and practice

We will cover the 5 pts. of yoga Proper exercise, breathing, nutrition, relaxation, positive thinking/meditation

You will understand the yoga postures, modifications, and how to navigate classes at the studio.

Clinic Includes: a discussion on the power of understanding fitness. The instructor Jena Baird with 20 years of experience in yoga, ancient modalities wellness applications, will give guidance in testing your mobility, wall work, connective tissue rinse outs, breath connection and so much more.

 

Weekly Candlelight Sound Bath

THURSDAYS 6:45 pm

Sound healers rotate with different sound healers. Enjoy Tea to settle in and pick out a inspirational card to start the sacred night. A warm space inviting space and props are provided for a relaxing experience. It is candlelight, and light projection for a magical experience an ambiance. The Sound journey is 60 min and is by donation. A variety of sound healing instruments, guided meditation and breath work and ceremony.

Members get one sound bath a month at no charge.
